We regularly assist the Sanctuary by providing essential helicopter transport for their dedicated staff, enabling them to access remote areas for crucial tasks like predator trapping. We were thrilled to recently partner with them in the Rees Valley, providing essential helicopter transport for the release of takahē, a precious and endangered native bird. Community Planting Days

We’re proud to see community spirit in action! Heli Glenorchy recently teamed up with the wider Glenorchy community and the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust for local planting days. It’s been inspiring to work alongside passionate locals and visitors, planting native trees and helping to enhance the biodiversity of our beautiful Whakatipu region. Our team is proud to get hands-on, bringing real energy and enthusiasm to support these important projects. Operating at the gateway to Fiordland and Mount Aspiring National Parks, Heli Glenorchy is a dedicated partner of the Department of Conservation (DOC).
