Heli Glenorchy provides support to the local Search and Rescue team as required. With numerous visitors in Queenstown, Glenorchy, Fiordland, and Aspiring National Parks, the region is prone to incidents and accidents.

Engaging in search and rescue operations is among the most challenging aspects of our work. Leveraging our expertise in local terrain, Human External Cargo capabilities, specialised navigation skills, and GPS equipment, our pilots collaborate with other essential services to conduct thorough search and rescue missions.
